Chico Yo-Yo Club’s very own Gentry Stein blazed his way into 4th place in the very competitive 1A division at this year’s National Yo-Yo Contest. Gentry was seeded into the finals as part of his top regional finish at the BAC in San Francisco. He took his playing to new heights in the annual Chico contest bettering recent champions Yuuki Spencer and Eric Koloski.

Giving a strong perfomance, Zac Rubino qualified to play in the off-string finals by doing well in the semi-finals held early in the day. His heroic effort against the best players in the country, Zac  captured a sweet 4th place finish in the National Yo-Yo Contest 4A division.
